During the 2026 Taiwan Lantern Festival, the themed event “Super Mario™ Star-Studded Carnival” will be held. On-site, in addition to the distribution of limited “? Block Mini Lanterns,” there will also be a game experience area and character meet & greet sessions for families to enjoy together. The “Slow Travel Chiayi” LINE official account provides two ways to obtain the lanterns: a pre-event lottery and on-site registration. Visitors are encouraged to participate promptly and plan ahead to avoid missing this exciting event.

One, Limited “? Block Mini Lanterns” – Pre-Event Lottery and On-Site Registration

The lanterns can only be obtained through the “Slow Travel Chiayi” LINE official account, and each LINE account is limited to one lantern per method. Visitors must collect the lantern during their reserved time slot; missed appointments cannot be compensated, and the phone screen must be presented for system verification—screenshots or photos are not valid.

1. Pre-Event Lottery (LINE Exclusive)
   Visitors can reserve a spot through the “Slow Travel Chiayi” LINE official account. The registration period is from 09:00 on February 12 (Thu) to 23:59 on February 24 (Tue). During registration, participants can choose three time slots for the lottery. Once submitted, the selected time slots cannot be changed or canceled, so please confirm your availability before entering. Results will be announced at 12:00 on February 25 (Wed). Winners can collect their lanterns during the festival from March 3 to March 15 (weekdays 14:00–20:45, weekends 10:00–20:45). After winning, each LINE account will receive one reservation voucher, and each account is limited to one lantern. Lanterns are to be collected at the “Super Mario™ Star-Studded Carnival Lantern Zone” according to the reserved time slot, with on-site verification. Visitors must complete check-in during the designated time; late arrivals will not be able to claim their lantern.

2. On-Site Distribution (LINE Exclusive)
   Visitors who did not participate in the pre-event lottery can collect a lantern from March 3 to March 15 (weekdays 14:00–21:00, weekends 10:00–21:00) at the collection counter. Registration opens daily at 09:00. After joining the “Slow Travel Chiayi” LINE official account, visitors can select a time slot (while supplies last) and obtain a voucher to redeem on-site.
   ※ The organizer reminds visitors that vouchers will expire if not used, and only same-day sessions are available. Lanterns are limited daily, so please plan ahead and avoid peak times.

Two, On-Site Highlight Activities – Game Experience Area and Character Meet & Greet

In addition to the limited lantern distribution, the “Super Mario™ Star-Studded Carnival” offers two major interactive on-site highlights. Both require obtaining a number ticket on-site and no pre-registration is provided.

1. Game Experience Area
   Open from March 3 to March 15, weekdays 14:00–21:00, weekends 10:00–21:00. Visitors who have joined the “Slow Travel Chiayi” LINE official account can collect a game ticket on the day, wait in the designated area until the session begins, and then redeem the ticket to participate in interactive games.

2. Character Meet & Greet
   Also from March 3 to March 15, Fridays to Sundays. Visitors who have joined the “Slow Travel Chiayi” LINE official account can collect a photo ticket on-site on the day, wait in the designated area until the session begins, and then redeem the ticket to meet characters and take photos.
